Installation instructions:
There are three programs in the zip file. The .ppa is for Powerpoint, the .xla is for Excel and the .dot is for Word. To install each of this programs simply open the program (Powerpoint, Excel or Word), go to tools -> add-ins and browse for the autobackup file. If you are using excel 2007 click on the Microsoft Office button -> excel options -> add-Ins and browse for the autobackup file. See more detailed installation instructions here. Using Autobackup:
Autobackup is very easy to use.You just have to install it and forget it exists until you lose your work (after a computer or program crash for example) or want to get back in time to a previous version. Then you just have to go to your backup directory, choose the desired backup file you want and copy it to your working folder. The most recent version is named with the number 1 after the file name. Each sequencial number represents a backup copy of your file distanced by the user-defined time interval. You can always reconfigure your options clicking the Autobackup option in the tools menu |
